National Mills Weekend & Spring Fair at The White Mill Rural Heritage Centre

National Mills Weekend takes place across the UK every May, more than 300 windmills and watermills would be usually open to the public to celebrate our milling heritage.

They will be opening our doors for visitors to explore the mill and museum. There will also be a fair with craft stalls, demonstrations, food, drink and entertainment.

Nostalgic Sandwich and Surrounding Villages are also hosting one of our popular old photo displays. They can be found at The White Mill on Saturday 13th May and Sunday 14th May.

The theme will be "local rural life". Many of the photos are taken from the albums of local people and depict rural life in bygone days. Every picture tells a story!
