The Festival takes place annually in the streets and wonderful hospitality venues of our beautiful historic town. Running for ten years, it has grown year upon year bringing a wide range of entertainment, stall holders, Morris dancers and much more - all for free! Between 27th June and 3rd July we aim to put on a vibrant, eclectic and diverse event for residents and visitors alike.
It is run entirely by the hard work of volunteers, including the Festival Committee. Whether it is helping with booking bands, building stages, technical assistance, litter picking, running a bar or information stand, making sure an event runs smoothly, or even just being a friendly face for visitors. We'd love to have you.
Our dedicated Volunteer Open Day has already passed (9th June), so please email sandwichfolkfestival@hotmail.com to sign up. One of our team will be in touch swiftly to answer any questions you may have. You will be required to attend a special health, safety and welfare briefing before the start of the Festival, where you will also be provided with any apparel you may need to perform your role.
Volunteering for one of Sandwich's biggest and much-loved events will be a fun and rewarding experience. Don't hesitate, sign up to support the Sandwich Folk and Ale Festival today!
