Set up in the 1960s by Frank Cornwall, it was at first located at the former Penguin Club then it moved to the Bull Inn at Eastry. The third gym was in Strand Street. The Sandwich Amateur Boxing Club is currently located in Eastry but as soon as the Sandwich Community Hub is reopened they intend to return to Sandwich.
