Arts Society Sandwich

Arts Society Sandwich brings people together through a shared curiosity and love of the Arts.

They offer an exciting programme of monthly lectures on a range of interesting subjects. Speakers are of national and international reputation and are carefully chosen to provide our membership with lectures of the highest quality, they are engaging communicators and excel in their field.

Membership

They are an expanding Society and keen to encourage new members. The cost of membership is £50 for the year. This includes 11 lectures (including the exclusive and very special Summer Supper event)  on a variety of interesting subjects as well as further opportunity to join us on study days and other events. In addition, it brings not only membership of the Sandwich local group but also membership of the parent body, The Arts Society, with a number of benefits including a very informative Arts Review magazine and online content.

There is also a very much reduced subscription of £20 a year to encourage young people under 25 to get involved in the Arts Society. A membership application form is available on their website.

Visitors are very welcome to attend our lectures at £7 per lecture.

Volunteering

If you have some time to spare and would like to get involved please get in touch. Your Arts Society needs you! We have many and varied opportunities to volunteer or simply “help out” on specific projects or activities. Vacancies on the committee will come up periodically (voted for at our AGM) and we will support you and provide training where necessary. As the saying goes, “many hands make light work” and with members participation and support we can continue to thrive and grow as a society.
