Rose n Tony

Our story began 21 years ago when we opened a small shop in our hometown of sandwich. What began as a discount store slowly blossomed into the beautiful arts and crafts store it is today. The biggest contributing factor to our store becoming a Haberdashery was when Tony and I visited a city and guilds hand and machine embroidery exhibition. Knitting and sewing had always been a hobby of mine but after seeing the work that was being produced at the exhibition I realised that I wanted to learn so much more. I wanted to be able to produce the same wonderful things for my home that these people were doing. So, I signed up there and then. Six long weeks followed waiting for the classes to start, when it did I was immediately hooked! One year later I was standing next to my own work displayed in the same city and guilds exhibition, in the same hall we had visited just over a year earlier. I stood there with pride encouraging others who wished and wanted to do it whilst explaining my story. Not long after our first order of fabric arrived. A small collection from coats crafts, it felt like all my Christmases had come at once. Nine years later and my passion for the craft has increased tenfold. We now stock over 1500 bolts of fabric from Makower, Moda, Ebor and many others. We also stock numerous ribbons, threads, trimmings, knitting yarns and everything that you need to continue on your own craft adventure! We are constantly increasing our range of products and we strive to only stock the best quality products at competitive prices.
