The Bird Observatory Field Centre is on Guilford Road, Sandwich Bay, CT13 9PF. Follow local signs towards Sandwich Bay and the observatory. The Field Centre is open every day and offers free parking, interpretation panels and displays, a reference library, toilets, a small shop and maps and guides for local footpaths. It also provides accommodation, meeting space and a base for talks, activities and courses.
Registered assistance dogs are welcome. The centre is a practical starting point for exploring Sandwich Bay’s wildlife; visitors should check current conditions and access advice before their visit.

Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust is a charity dedicated to conservation, education and monitoring the environment in and around Sandwich Bay. The Field Centre supports bird recording and wider study of butterflies, dragonflies, orchids and other flora and fauna, while helping visitors understand this internationally important coastal landscape.
